The Linear EXA-1000 is an omni-directional remote antenna. This antenna upgrade works on Linear and other brand radio receivers with a coaxial F connector. The EXA1000 receives signals in the 288-320 MHz frequency range. Poor signal strength is improved by 20-30%. The EXA 1000 is very versatile and can be mounted in a variety of ways. You can mount to a post or pipe with the supplied 2-inch u-bolt. The antenna baseplate can also be mounted directly to a wall or other wood brace/beam. The higher you mount this antenna, the better the range. A 5-foot cable is included but you can use a cable up to 25-feet before performance is reduced. Linear products are made with quality parts and come with a one-year factory warranty.
