The Linear 106603 is a remote whip style antenna. This antenna kit includes the whip antenna, 15-foot coaxial cable and mounting bracket. This kit can be used on radio receivers that have a Type-F coaxial connector. The 15-foot cable allows you to mount the antenna higher up or run to the building exterior for better radio reception and performance. This is especially useful when your receiver is located inside a concrete or metal building which can limit remote radio range.
